bitty baby starter collection with trunk??

Seems the asian baby has a rounder head? Or is it just the picture?
Is the trunk well made? My daughter,too, is kind of hard on things.

The trunk is very well made, it is heavy and very sturdy. I bought it for my twins 3rd bday. a year later it is still like new!

My daughter also wanted the trunk so I bought it with the doll since there was only a few dollar price difference. I then sold the doll on ebay since we already had 2 bbs. You can recoup some of your money that way.

My daughter has the wicker basket but I thought having the trunk would be nice as well.

Hi Maronda!

Although DD doesn't know it yet, the Bitty Baby starter collection with the trunk is currently stashed in our closet, just waiting for her bday in Nov.

Of course, being me, I opened and thoroughly examined all of it when it arrived and was extremely pleased. The trunk appears to be quite solid--I'm looking at it right now as I type this for you--vinyl type outside with metal trim and interior is fabric lined. The bonnent & Christening type gown are darling. Bonnet is smocked with fancy metalic trim & lace. Bib is "quilted" and appears sturdy. Play/romper outfit also looks good with lace details and seems well made. Has socks to match. The quilt is cute too & generously sized. Bottles & rattle also look pretty good. Do you want me to take/post pictures for you? I'd be glad to do so!

I decided that the starter collection was the only way to go from an economic value standpoint since you get so much stuff in the trunk plus the doll. None of the other starter options for BB seemed quite as good when I was looking a few months ago.

From a personal standpoint, I wish DD had said she wanted the new twins because I love the hair on all the AG dolls so much. But DD is smitten with BB right now so that was that!

Height is 6 1/2 inches (with lid closed; 4 1/2 with lid opened so decent storage space but with the quilt in there it is pretty full. I think to store more clothes, the quilt will have to come out at our house :-) )
Depth is 7 inches
Width is 9 1/2 inches

Does anyone know if the BB trunk is the same size as Marisol's trunk?

It is worth it to buy, Kind of on a tight budget, (Already bought too much, lol)
But, the only way I would buy it is with a doll, as its the cheapest. (getting the asian ? doll)
Any reviews or pictures?

I love the collection trunk. It has so many accessories and my daughter was in awe whne I bought the collection for her. If you can afford it, buy it with the doll, it includes outfits and so much more. I really enjoy it and my daughter loves playing with the items.

My DDs would love the trunk and its collection. We bought our first BB with the wicker suitcase but the latches on the suitcase broke off with light play (oldest daughter is extremely gentle with her things). When it was time for our youngest to get her Bitty, we just got the doll and some outfits because she is much harder on her toys than her big sis and we knew the suitcase wouldn't last. I wish I could get them the trunk but I can't justify it-- just too expensive without the doll.

Go for the trunk, if you can! (If it is more than you can spend, the doll will still be fabulous without the trunk)

Edited to add: We love the Asian Bitty. She is adorable. My older (blond) daughter is holding her inmy avatar (not a great photo, sorry).
